On February 26, 2024 Alicia Denise Jordan’s earthly journey came to an end at Pruitt Heritage Nursing Home, Athens, Georgia. Denise “aka” Niecy, as she was fondly called, was born on November 25, 1959 to the parentage of Erskine and Dorothy Lomax Jordan in Athens, Georgia. She was the youngest of two daughters.
Denise was preceded in death by her loving parents, Erskine and Dorothy Jordan and several beloved aunts and cousins.
Denise attended Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, West. She was such a friendly and fun-loving person with the most beautiful smile.
Gone but never will be forgotten by her beloved family and friends. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, three daughters, Avia Jordan, Tlayra (Shane) Sims and Kyota “KeKe” (Jayvin) Jordan; her sister, caregiver and second mom, Doris Jordan B. T. Glenn; eight grandchildren, Miguel, Mayce, Damari, Amari, Meayah, Mealah, Miracle and Miche`l; niece, Pamela Bell Terry; nephew, Reginald D. (Sadetta) Bell; other great-nieces, great-nephews, several cousins and friends.
