Alvin Bernard Bailey, Sr.

Mr. Alvin Bernard Bailey Sr., was born on May 22, 1956 to the late Ms. Lucille "Ma Lucy" Bailey in Athens, Georgia. On February 27, 2024 he peacefully departed his earthly abode.

Alvin received his education in the Clarke County School System graduating from Cedar Shoals High School Class of 1971-72. 

Along with his mother Ms. Lucille Bailey he was preceded in death by two sisters: Ms. Joanne Pittman and Ms. Larean Williams. 

Alvin leaves to cherish his memories three children: Mr. Alvin Bernard (Joyce) Bailey Jr., of Anderson, South Carolina, Mr. Quincy L. Bailey and Ms. Shakera M. Bailey, both  of Athens, Georgia; Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one sister: Ms. Nancy Bailey of Athens, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Bobby (Fanny) Pittman and Mr. Claude (Stephanie) Bailey. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
