Obituary
Mr. Ahsford Tavares Johnson was born January 29, 1978 to the parentage of Ms. Rosezelle Johnson and the late Mr. Wayne Jorden both of Athens, GA .
Tavares attended Cedar Shoals High School and afterwards he moved to Atlanta and took interest in be coming a truck driver. He later took residence in Nashville Tennessee and continued traveling all 50 States for the past 24 years.
In search of light AJ joined the brothers of Martin Luther King Jr. Lodge # 361 in 2015. He was dedicated in learning the crafttoinstruct new brothers who came in to the Lodge. In the year 2017, he was elected to serve as Worshipful Master of the Lodge and served until the end of 2018.
On February 13, 2017, Brother AJ was elevated to the degree of Companion in the Jericho Royal Arch Chapter #1735. While serving this chapter he was also best wed the degree of Knight hood, kneeling in front of the Alter of the Most High God and took his vow to join Knights of Dome of Rock # 1654 Order of The Knights Templar.
Brother AJ also served as Associate Patron of Delpinus Chapter # 215 and Royal Patron of Gem of Rubies Amaranth Court #1331 of the Order of Eastern Star.
One of his favorite hobbies were working on cars and hanging out with his favorite cousins and family when ever he came back to Athens.
Tavares leaves Cherished memories to his mother, Rosezelle Johnson; two children, Elandrex McBee and Ashley Johnson; three brothers, Wayne Jordan, Jr., Sergio and Bryan Jordan; two sisters, Shemika Goss and Adrienne Jordan; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
