Beulah Myrick Colbert was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Walter Lee Myrick and Mary Lee Myrick Dillard. Beulah was reared in the home of her grandparents, the late Charlie and Willie Bell Mitchell. She was affectionately known as “Honey Doll” by her family.
Beulah graduated from Burney-Harris High School. After graduating high school she moved to Atlanta to further her education.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Antoinette D. Taylor.
She is survived by her brother, Anthony (Pamela) Myrick; aunt, Elizabeth Bowers; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
