Eddie Norris Ellington, 89 of Decatur, began his eternal journey November 10, 2025.

He was predeceased by his sons, Bryant Ellington and Bobby L. Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hattie M. Ellington; daughter, Calandra Akinkoye; brother, Milton Peek; aunt, Arsie Stewart; uncle, Maceo Stewart; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; niece and a host of cousins.
