Eleanor Johnson

Sister Eleanor Johnson was born April 29, 1947 to the late Mr. Jessie James Johnson and Mrs. Mattie Johnson. Sister Johnson departed this earthly home on Friday, October 18, 2019.
 She was a member of the Unique Social Club where she served as the Parliamentarian, and of the VFW 3910 Auxiliary.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Annie Mildred Clarke, brothers, Lamar Harmond and Willie James Johnson; a loving aunt, Mildred Shaw who raised Eleanor in her home after death of her mother.
 Sister Eleanor Johnson graduated from Burney Harris High School, Class of 1967.  She worked at the University of Georgia for 30 plus years.
 She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Carolyn Johnson Collins; a niece, Carlis (Carolyn) Johnson who was raised in the home; a host of other nieces and nephews; and a special cousin who Eleanor regarded as a brother, Charles Knox; other relatives and friends
