Elzonia D. Yearby

Elzonia Davenport Yearby began her eternal journey peacefully on the morning of March 15, 2024. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family. Elzonia was born November 6, 1939 in Athens, Georgia to the late Leo Davenport, Sr. and Geneva Lester.

In addition to her parents, Elzonia was preceeded in death by a daughter, Isanay Dunn; three brothers and sister. Gone, but never forgotten by her beloved family and friends. 

She leaves behind cherished memories to her husband, Charles A. Yearby; children, Leroy (Paticia) Dunn, Jr., James Lee (Laura) Dunn, Geneva Dunn, Robert Lee Dunn, David Lee (Lawanda) Dunn, Cheryl Lee Dunn; three special grandchildren, Antwon L Dunn, Sheena L. Willoughby, Marico Freeman, twenty-three other grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren.

We  Hold You Close

Mother we hold you close within our hearts,
 And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we Meet again.
So rest in peace our belovedl Mother, 
And thanks for all you've done.
We pray that God has given you, 
The Crown you've truly won.
