Mr. Earnest Faust was born in Athens, GA to Magnolia Faust and the late Jim Faust on October 25, 1954. He departed his earthly home on September 18, 2022.
He Joined St. James Baptist church at an early age. He earned an education at North Athens Elementary and Lyons Middle School. He learned to work on cars at the early age of 15 through his employer, Mr. James Bradberry, who built and drove race cars. From that relationship and through employment, his passion grew as a mechanic. For over 45 years, earnest fixed more cars than he could drive in his lifetime. He was also employed by Gold Kist Farms and Harrison Poultry for many years.
Earnest was preceded in death by his father, Jim Faust; Sisters, Irene Willis and Susan Faust; brother, George Faust; and niece, Joshulyn Faust.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, magnolia faust; daughters, Tasha (Eddie) Dowdy, Valerie (Derek) Crawford, and Yolinda Faust; sons, Adam Mahaffey and Sanchez (Maggie) Jones, raised in the home; 9 Grandkids and 3 Great-grandkids; sisters, Claudia Lawrence, Sandra Faust, and Geneva Faust; brother, James (Maylily) Faust; Special friend, Stephanie Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
