Jarel Terrell Dean Sr., was on Born April 13, 1988 in Athens, Georgia to the late Ms. Carolyn Griffeth and Mr. Jethro Dean. On Monday July 25, 2022 an Angel was commissioned to carry our beloved home where God wiped his tears, eased his pain and whispered “I will give you rest” surrounded by family.
“Smoke” as he was affectionately known, along with his parents was proceeded in death by his grandfather Mr. Raymond Cornell Griffeth and Grandmother Viola Dean.
Jarel attended the Clarke County Schools system, he joined the Brown Chapel Baptist Church at a young age. He was a hard worker and loved operating heavy equipment.
Jarel also had a deep passion and love for working on cars, riding his dirt bikes and racing cars at the tracks, he was a loving brother, father and uncle. “Smoke” was a leader and mentor to his favorite nephew “little Blandon” whom he loved as if he was his child.
He leaves cherished memories to his two sons: Master Jarel Dean Jr. and Master Cornell Dean, daughter: Little Miss. Kennadic Perry, a loving companion: Ms. Jemeliah Perry, three brothers: Mr. Blandon Dean, Mr. Dedrick Griffeth and Mr. Micheal Dean, one sister: Mrs. Kimberly Dean-Commodore, Grandmother: Mother Claudie Griffeth, three aunts: Ms. Phyllis Griffeth, Ms. Connie Griffeth and Mrs. Sylvia (Kenneth) Sneed, two uncles: Mr. Edward Dean and Mr. Henry Dean, four nieces: Trachell, Macshela, Kiara and Shanderica, four nephews: Blandon Jr., Jermaine Sr., Jerron Jr., and Milachi, and a host of other relatives and friends.
