To Know Him – Was To Love Him - The World Will Never Be the Same – A Void That Can Never Be Filled
Jaymes Lumpkin was born on June 11, 1970 in Athens, Georgia.
He graduated from Oconee County High School in 1990 and was voted "Most Spirited" of the High School Class because his loving energy was unmatched.
Jaymes continued his education by pursuing and acquiring a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia.
Since 2017, Jaymes called Orlando, Florida home.
He loved kids and mentoring.
Jaymes touched everyone that he crossed paths with. Once you meet Jaymes Lumpkin, you would never forget him. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend and stand up for his loved ones. He was truly ONE of a KIND.
Jaymes's life seems too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by him understand that his existence and the imprint that he left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that he was here on earth.
Jaymes is survived by his parents Will Lumpkin SR and Margaret Lumpkin; Brothers: Will Henry Lumpkin Jr. and Troy Adams; Sisters: Cheryl Lumpkin Brown and Tamika Lumpkin-Moon; Nieces: Tomorreau Brown and Blakelyn Lumpkin; A host of family members that include aunts, uncles and cousins, in which he loved them all.
"If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.”
You made people laugh effortlessly. We will forever miss your sass, your spunk, and your style.
A special thanks to all Jaymes’s loving family and friends for your kind words, support and contributions during this difficult and tragic time.
