Jessie Bell (Foote) Johnson

The Johnson Family is receiving friends at the residence.

      Mrs. Jessie Bell Foote-Johnson was born August 16, 1927 in Athens, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Johnny and Minnie Foote. She departed this life on February 20, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Athens, Georgia.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of New Gove Baptist Church Winterville Georgia. She attended Julia Jackson School, Athens Georgia. Jessie was proceeded in death by her husband J. T. Johnson and one son John Thomas Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was not only a mother and grand-mother to her own children, but was known as Mama, Grandma Bell to the entire Winterville Road Community. She was a loving and caring to anyone who crossed her path, she had a kind heart to know her were to love her.

Many loving memories will be cherished by her three daughters, Shirley Huffman, Fremont California., Rosezelle Johnson and Helen (Eddie) Johnson both of Athens, Georgia; two sons, Larry (Veronica) Johnson, Fayetteville Georgia, and Alphonza Johnson,

Athens, Georgia; one sister, Mildred Womack; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
