Jessie Maurice Stroud

Jessie Maurice Stroud came into this world on September 8, 1982, a vibrant and curious child. He was the first grandchild born to the late Cecil Harman Stroud, whom he adored.

Jay lived life to the fullest and enjoyed being around his family and friends. Jessie was a member of Thankful Baptist Church, Athens. After graduating in 2001 from Cedar Shoals High School, he attended Athens Technical College.

In addition to his maternal grandmother,  he was proceeded in death by his maternal great-gerandmother, Fannie L. Harmon; paternal grandfather, Willie B. Foster and aunt, Debra Foster-Smith.

Jay leaves to cherish precious memories with his parents, Stanley and Deborah Stroud Foster, Athens; sister, Talisa Foster, South Korea; a devoted cousin, Reko Ball; maternal grandmother, Iline Foster; paternal grandfather, Robert L. Stroud, New York; aunts, Loretta Bush, Angela Adams, Florida; uncles, Doug, Reginald, Allen Foster & Eric Smith all of Athens, Willie Foster, Fort Valley, Reginald Bolton, Michael Smith both of Athens; a girlfriend, April McLean, North Carolina; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
