Justin "JJ" Michael Drake, Jr. was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Ernestine T. Rittenberry, and maternal great-great-grandparents, Harrell C. and Marion H. Shields.

Survivors include parents, Justin Drake, Sr. and Ti'mesha Rittenberry; four sisters, Ja'Nya, Chanel, Nova, and Fendi;  paternal grandparents, Rose (Michael Johngan) Byrd and Robert Drake; maternal grandparents, Timothy and Makeda Rittenberry; paternal great-grandparents, Willie and Althea Clarke; maternal great-grandparents, Frank Rittenberry, Chenetta (Greg) Mickles, and Randy Shields; three aunts, Timberly (Larquinton, Sr.) Rittenberry, Alexus Flores, and Jazmine Wymbs; two uncles, Joshua Wymbs and Xavior Smith; four cousins, Carson, Paris, Larquinton, Jr., and Kalani; and host of many other relatives and family friends.
