Loretta Marie Stinchcomb, 71, of Colbert, GA, passed away on April 22, 2026. Born on November 13, 1954, in Cumming, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lola Grace and Erskin Mobley.
Loretta was a woman known by all for her bright red hair and a fierce, resilient nature. Though her path in life was not always easy, she faced it with a determination to enjoy every moment to the best of her abilities. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether she was lost in the rhythm of music and dancing, crocheting a new piece, or settling in for her favorite soap operas and movies. To those she loved, she will be remembered most for her incredible cooking and strong opinions.
She is survived by her three children: Lola (Pat) Dawson, Margo (Donnie) Fowler, and Samuel Stinchcomb Jr.; her nine grandchildren: Meggan, Dane, Brittany, Savannah, Curtis, Christy, Amber, Timothy, and Bethany; and four beloved great-grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Joann and Samuel.
