The Watson-Browner Family is receiving friends at the home of Ms. Brenda Browner.
Mrs. Mae Alice Watson Browner was born in Athens, Georgia to the late George & Hattie Watson and was a lifelong member of Hillsboro Baptist Church, North High Shoals, Georgia.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were siblings, Stanley Watson, Emmitt Watson, Lucinda Watson, and husband, Gregory Charles Browner.
She was a 1980 graduate of Clarke Central High School. She worked many years at St. Mary’s Hospital, as well as Ringers Dry Cleaners. She later retired from Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Browner was a fun loving, kind and just a “all round” great woman. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and countless friends. Her pastime was playing cards and was an avid Bingo player.
Mrs. Browner leaves to cherish three sons, Drico Browner, Edward Willingham, Antonio Berry; four daughters, Kisha & Melissa Pope, Bridgett & Tony Jones, Tomeka Browner; sisters, Brenda Browner and Georgia Butler; two aunts, Shirley Ranson, Minnie Browning and Emma Lou Gordon; seven grandchildren; mother & father-in-law, Betty (Beck) Browner and Robert Browner; sister-in-law, Angela (Mike) Bailey; brother-in-law, Larry Browner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
