McArthur Middlebrooks

McArthur “Mack” Middlebrooks was born July 7, 1944 to the late Chester Middlebrooks Sr. and Mrs. Cora Lee Middlebrooks, in Athens, Ga.

 He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Middlebrooks; mother, Cora Lee Middlebrooks; brother, C. W. Middlebrooks and two grandson, Bernard Middlebrooks Jr. and Tregnard Middlebrooks

He departed this life on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 12:30 a.m. at The Oaks (Pruitt Hospice of Athens) Athens, Georgia.

He attended Athens, Clarke County school system. He retired from and worked at the Smith Package until his health.

Mr. Middlebrooks is survived by his wife, Patricia Middlebrooks for 50 years; three sons, MacArtimus Middlebrooks (Andrea); Atlanta, Ga. Bernard Sr. (Beverly)Middlebrooks, Stone Mountain, Ga.; Christopher Middlebrooks, Athens, Ga. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren (Riley Williams, Adien Middlebrooks and Carson Favors). Sister-in-law Willie Eva (Johnny)Rucker. Close friend Mildred Moses. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
