Nathan Morton

Mr. Nathan "Nate" Morton was born on July 18, 1951 in Athens, Georgia to the late Mr. William Dorsey and the late Reverend Lila Morton Dorsey. 

He departed this life on August 24, 2025 at Pruitt Health Care Facility under Hospice care.

 Nathan attended Burney-Harris High School Athens, Georgia, and later he enlisted into Job Corp. He loved to hangout with his family and friends. also he love his collection of music and making Model cars. 

In addition to his parents, Nathan was preceded  in death by his brother Carlton "Billy By" Dorsey.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons: Nathan LaDon Curry and Willie Nathan Morton, one sister; Mae (Michael) Johnson of Athens, Georgia; four brothers; Bruce Davis, Charles (Donna) Dorsey, Tony (Mary) Dorsey and  Calvin (Carrie) Dorsey all of Athens, Georgia. A niece Angela Cooper reared in the home, One God-sister; Janice (Bobby) Ellis,  a God-brother Sylvester Morris. Five grandchildren; Nalen Curry, Navy Curry, Johness Davis, and Jayden Goodjoines  and Jamarion Davis; one great-grand daughter; Nori Churry and a host of neice, nephews, other  relatives and friend.
