Charles Knox, Jr., was born June 7, 1954 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania to Charles Knox, Sr. and Lorraine Lee Brinson. He
departed his earthly life April 19, 2022.
He was proceeded in death by his father; Charles, Sr., stepmother,
Barbara Knox; mother Lorraine L. Brinson and brother, Robert
Brinson.
Charles attended Clarke Central High School Athens, Georgia Class
of 1973. He was the founder of Prodigal Son Ministry and a member
of the Mason Advance Lodge #31. His passion was to minister, share
his faith and care for others, which lead him to begin his business,
“Heavenly Senior Care” in order to do just that! He cared and
ministered to friends and family in many different ways.
He was loved for so many reasons and what stands out the most was
the way he believed in his children as different and unique as each of
them are, he would always let them know how to not suppress who
they are for anyone and to “always be yourself”. Family was always
very important to him and his love for all of his children was
paramount! The ability for family to stay together and support each
other was always what he preached.
Charles leaves cherished memories with his wife, Ramona Miller-
Knox; children Yvette (Janerio) Flanigan, Francine Jackson, Natasha
“Spanky” Maxey, Charles Knox, lll, Evie Knox, Annie Knox, Kenya
Lane, and Nia Knox; sisters, Karen Knox, Lynn (Dana) Knox - Ford,
Ivy Knox, Sylvia Knox; Terri Brinson; brothers, Kevin Bryan
(Anshanta) Knox and Arthur Brinson; a host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and many, many friends.
“In your life you touched so many, in your
death many lives were changed”
With Love from Ramona
