On January 19,1951 in Athens, Georgia, proud parents, Parnell and Lizzie T. Jackson welcomed their third child, a son, Timothy Anthony Jackson.
Timothy joined Hill Chapel Baptist Church, Athens, at an early age. He graduated from Burney Harris High School, Athens and Shaw University, Raleigh, NC, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Timothy was employed by Eastern Airlines for a decade of service and then Kraft Foods for many years. He later retired from MARTA Bus Transit as a manger in 2013.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Jackson and sister, Jacqueline Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory with his brother Mark (Gloria) Jackson of Atlanta Ga; nephews,Baba Femi Williams, Christopher (Topaz) Jackson, Marcus (Taquasha) Jackson, Jerald (Praijah) Coverson, Martavious Jackson; nieces, Julia (Devohn) Dyer, Camilia (Larry) Mobley, Jacqulyn Jackson, Shakila Jackson, Inderia Jackson, Victoria Jackson; one great-great nephew and a longtime friend, Ella Denis and a host of family and friends.
