On September 8, 1929 Willie "Hamp" Duhart was born to the late Will and Maggie Elder Duhart in Watkinsville, (Oconee County) Georgia. On January 17, 2017 he made a peaceful transition from life to begin his heavenly rewards.
Willie "Hamp" joined Little Creek Baptist Church at an early age, where served on the Board of Deacons. He attended Rose Creek School. He loved playing checkers with family and Friends
He leaves to be cherish his memory two sons, Charlie Finch of Stone Mountain Georgia, Mack (Phyllis) Sheats of Athens G; two daughters, Hazel Norman of Athens GA and Wanda Reid of Stone Mountain GA; daughter–in-law, Lana Sheats; sister, Emma Duhart Sewell of Pittsburg PA; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
